Many in Ohio are aware that Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have been separated for nearly a year. What isn't known is why the couple has yet to file their undoubtedly high asset divorce. There are those who believe they haven't filed because of money.

Ashton Kutcher made more money in the latter years of the couple's marriage. It was rumored that he didn't want to pay Demi Moore a portion of his earnings. Kutcher is now the highest paid television actor, having made $24 million last year just for his role on the television show "Two and a Half Men."

Even though the couple hasn't filed for divorce, Kutcher has been seen publicly with a former co-star. Some close to Moore have said that she is jealous, frustrated or just embarrassed by Kutcher's public affair. What is really going on with the couple is anyone's guess.

Sometimes, couples separate not really knowing what they are going to do next. In a high asset divorce, there is always the consideration that one party will end up paying thousands if not millions of dollars to the other party. For some, that is reason enough to delay filing for divorce. Eventually, like many separated couples in Ohio, Moore and Kutcher are going to have to make a decision - either they are happy with their current situation, or they are ready to end their marriage and finally go their separate ways. In the meantime, there will likely be continued speculation in the media about exactly what is occurring and when the anticipated divorce will be finalized.
